- Gather all ingredients and measure them accurately.
Pre-Cooking
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Mixing and Assembling
- In a large mixing bowl, cream together the peanut butter, softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth.
- Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until fully incorporated.
- Gradually add the flour and baking soda, mixing until just combined.
- If using, gently fold in the chocolate chips.
Cooking and Finishing
- Using a tablespoon, scoop out dough and roll into balls, placing them on the prepared baking sheet.
- Flatten the dough balls slightly and bake for about 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden.
- Allow the cookies to cool, then decorate with pretzel antlers, candy eyes, and red M&Ms.
